I answered honestly. I believe this may have been my downfall in the interview because when I told them how much I made at my last job the person interviewing me took a big sigh. I immediately tried to explain I wasn't looking for the same salary but I am not sure if that helped or not. But, now I know to avoid that question next time. I have never been asked that question and got that kind of response before so I was definitely thrown off track. Oh well...
