I answered that I don't have a direct experience in the position they are advertising for, but I have worked in other tech-based jobs before and I believe the the transferrable skills that I have acquired will qualify me to do this job. They said yes! we are not expecting you to have high technical skills and we will train you on everything you need to do your job.
