Unexpected question: which books on testing do u know

They probably wanted to know how you educate yourself and grow your expertise. Totally reasonable question in my opinion.

That question didn't sound like a smart question. Interviewer should have asked you about your approach to resolve an issue, not what book do you read! In testing, we generally don't study/ follow any book. We do google search/ take courses on specific tools/framework.

It's essential to demonstrate that you can really go deep... there are plenty of followup questions and (sometimes tangential) angles to explore.
There's a lot of Software Engineer In Test experts who've worked at Evernote, who provide this sort of practice through mock interviews. There's a whole list of them curated on Prepfully.
