They tried to cut my asking salary by a third, and then they started haggling, I asked for additional information about the position, and the recruiter told me he only had two lines of description. He was only interested in sending an email stating that I accepted the low rate they were proposing. Seeing that he had no idea about the position he was offering (or that the process with the client was barely starting), I told him that I was already very far along in another process. I was honest about the fact that I couldn't wait for such a long process. The recruiter became completely rude; he got angry and said I was wasting his time. I explained that I thought it was going to be a faster process and wished him luck with the search, to which he replied that he didn't need my good wishes.
