I said I like to find out all the information I can before jumping in and doing stuff which can be good because it makes me careful but in food service it makes people impatient. People don't want to waste time answering questions. If you want to learn in food service it's better to make a decision. if it's the wrong decision, you'll get yelled at but people move on very quickly and you'll know what to do.
