I had a very positive experience interviewing with this company. Although I wasn’t selected, the interviewer was excellent—very precise, thorough, and professional. The interview lasted about an hour and was well-structured, giving me a clear sense that the company is organized and thoughtful in its approach. Even when I had a connectivity issue, the interviewer was patient and understanding, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a smooth and professional process, and I left with a great impression of the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Infiterra (Athens, Athens, Attica) in Nov 2025
Interview
Position was for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with 'QA Strategy' and 'Test Metrics' requirements, which is not a red flag by itself and would rather indicate they are looking for a Senior II or experienced Senior (how would you expect a Senior to define Test Metrics for an organization if they have not worked as a Lead in the past?)
Extremely long hiring process. This took 5+ for them to get to a 'No' reply simply because enough days had passed for me to genuinely inquire.
First week: schedule the HR call. Second week: the HR call itself. Third week: schedule the VP/Tech Lead call. Fourth week: the VP/Tech Lead call itself. Fifth week: an intercalary interview with the newly hired QA Strategist. Sixth week: no answer, I simply reached out to confirm if this was a 'no'.
The word 'Strategy' was sprayed all over the interviews. Interview with the QA Strategist was premature - the person was only a week on board and had not even set up their camera yet and had little comeback. I was given the impression they only asked the person to interview me so as to have them take full responsibility.
Despite all the 'strategy' hype and the terrible misuse of the word, the interview process is unstructured and giving away of a company culture with weak, hesitant decision making relying on decision expiry.
