About ADF Health Services
In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.
This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About ACT Health Centre
ACT houses Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri-service military academy. The ACT Health Centre opened mid-2021 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1630 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts). In this role you will be working 4pm-8pm Tuesday & Thursday.
