Location: Melbourne / Sydney

Design, develop, implement and maintain the network of an organization, design system configuration and documentation, install and configure the network systems, fix any technical issues in the network and keep a check on its efficiency, upgrade the existing systems time-to-time, completely responsible for the overall operation of the network systems in organization, maintaining the hardware and software that are related to computer network systems, provide onsite and remote support to the whole staffs and department of the organization as well as the clients, users and stakeholders by troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Establishing network systems, defining their configuration and directing their installation as per the network standards
• Preparing reports according with the performance of a network and upgradation
• Maintaining the network system by upgrading the hardware and software timely
• Administrating the access of third-party applications to avoid any damage to the company’s data and information
• Troubleshooting the faults in the network and resolve them
• Providing Network support to the users and client’s onsite and remote support through Team’s meeting, online chat, phone calls and emails.
• Monitoring the organization network with respect to the traffic, activity status, usage and capacity to ensure its optimal working
• Coordinating with the staff and the departments of the organization and establishing effective communication with the team to ensure smooth working of the network systems

Key Accountabilities

• Designing, developing and implementation of Computer network for the customer as per the requirements
• Configuration and installation of network devices like Firewall, Router, Switches, and Modems as per the design.
• Ensuring the throughout connectivity in organization coordinating with vendors and ISP providers
• Ensuring the network security by updating firmware/patches on network devices like Firewall, Routers, Switches, Modems and Servers.
• Regularly monitoring the network using different tools like Solar winds, Aruba Airwave, Logic Monitor, Juniper Mist, Palo Alto Server Monitoring, and PRTG Network Monitor. Identify the network issues and take necessary steps to optimize the network performance.
• Maintaining the network hardware and software by performing the preventive maintenance activities timely. Ensuring the network hardware devices working properly by maintaining the power supply and air-conditioning. Installing the updates, patches and service packs for network devices and software on time.
• Ensuring the network security policies are updated with the system and follows as per the company policies. Make sure that Security policies are regularly updated and maintained
• Planning for the network upgradation and implementation of new technologies for improve the network speed and stability
• Upgradation of bandwidth of network links according with requirements.
• Conversion of network uplinks from copper to fiber to improve the network speed
• Providing the technical support to all users in organization regarding the network and system related issues.
• Recording the network related issues and quires from users as tickets by using the tools like service now, Jira, Fresh service and resolve the issues in time bound.
• Providing onsite and remote support to the whole staffs and department of the organization as well as the clients, users and stakeholders by troubleshooting any issues that may arise
• Keep monitoring the health of network and updating management and clients about the network status, performance and security issues
• Inform the organization and staffs on prior regarding the planned outage and passing the information related with network issues through daily messages or company portal.
• Conducting meetings with vendors, stake holders, within teams to improve the performance of service.
• Documentation of network details and keep the network tracker up to date for better visibility on network
• Providing training to team members, non-technical staffs regarding the network security and updates
• Providing end user support for troubleshooting the network issues as well as issues with Desktop, Scanner, Printers and AV equipment.
• Managing the Audio-Visual Network in organization and technical support to events
• Digital transformation of classroom using different educational technology applications like vivi which transforming the classroom into a controllable, collaborative, and creative learning space.

Mandatory Skills:

• 3 or more years’ experience in network management/configuration/Installation and administration
• Experience in System level administration/troubleshooting and management
• Good Knowledge in configuration and troubleshooting of Routers, Switches, Firewalls made by Cisco, HP, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet and Palo alto
• Experienced in designing of LAN/WAN network for organization and troubleshooting of all network related issues.
• Good Knowledge of configuration and installation of Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Scanner, CCTV, IP Camera, Kiosk Machines and troubleshooting the issues.
• Working Knowledge on NOC operations. Issue addressing, creating and managing of tickets with applications like Service now, Jira and Fresh Service
• Experienced on monitoring and troubleshooting of network links with tools like Solar winds, Aruba Airwave, Logic Monitor, Juniper Mist, Palo Alto Server Monitoring, and PRTG Network Monitor
• Experienced on Service delivery of network solution for corporate clients. Provided end to end solution
• Experienced of delivery, managing, monitoring of network links on customer locations in associate with different ISPs like Vocus, Telstra, BSNL, TATA, Sify and Airtel
• Experienced in AV network configuration, installation and troubleshooting issues.

• Solid experienced with Network support to end customers and liaise with different vendors to provide excellent service to customer
• Strong Analytical and design skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with customers and vendors to develop suitable network solutions.
• Ability to document the technical specifications and maintain the network inventory
• Good experienced in troubleshooting issues and end user testing, including issue analysis and resolution
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in languages like English, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil
• Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Open to learn new technologies / applications and meet business demands
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experienced working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to knowledge transfer skills to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering and desirable working experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required.
• Completed short term courses in CCNA with System Administration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
