The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting and running their machines. You will be able to work a schedule and communicate effectively with staff.

Based from our factory in Fairfield, the role requires someone who is creative and passionate about machining.

Tasks and accountabilities

• Program, set and operate CNC machining centres and lathes
• Use CAM software (Esprit)
• Read and program machines per engineering drawing requirements
• Be familiar with Fanuc controls
• Participate in receiving and leading training of others
• Can work unsupervised and work to a schedule
• Ability to be given a series of jobs and decipher the most effective and efficient way to process multiple jobs
• Manage and guide a small team to help accomplish work and set goals
• Be honest, reliable and hardworking
