Established over 30 years ago, the Company is a successful manufacturer of high-quality polyethylene products to the Agriculture and Mining industries, with headquarters, and multiple regional offices, in WA. It has experienced exponential success since inception, with both organic and acquisitive growth, and is now embarking on an exciting new phase in the company’s history. As such, it is looking to expand its team of Truck Drivers.

Scope of Duties:

As a HR Truck Driver, you will be you will be responsible for the physical delivery of Coerco products and supplier goods by truck. You may drive short or long-haul and using trucks of differing design, size and weight, and will be responsible for general maintenance, refuelling and cleaning of any vehicle under use.

Whilst the role is based in Dalwallinu, given the nature of the role flexibility exists as to the residential location of our drivers.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving of company delivery trucks of varying sizes, including oversized loads
• Driving short and / or long routes across WA, and potentially interstate
• Transporting goods to their final destination
• Supervising loading of goods onto trucks, and supervising offloading and delivery operations
• Report to the GM, Logistics any defects, issues or required repairs on company vehicles
• Other duties as required
• Checking condition of goods and preparing transport documents
• Planning transport operations (route, delivery schedule)
• Checking the vehicle is in good, safe working order before setting off
• Checking fuel and oil levels, oil filters and tyres

Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

• HR license required, HC and/or MC license an advantage
• Ability to drive safely
• High level of concentration and rapid reflexes
• Strong sense of orientation
• Problem-solving skills (i.e. dealing with accidents and unforeseen issues)
• Organisational and time-management skills
• Patience and resistance to stress
