About the Role

We’re looking for an energetic and personable Server / Bartender to join our friendly, professional team at our Charlestown location. This is a dual role combining floor service and bar work, offering variety and the opportunity to build your skills across multiple areas of the venue.

You’ll play a key part in delivering a welcoming dining experience while preparing and serving beverages with consistency and care. Dinner service is our busiest period, so you’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with both floor and bar teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service and build rapport with guests
• Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages efficiently
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and coffee (where applicable)
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, including Italian dishes, wines, and specials
• Assist guests with recommendations and upselling where appropriate
• Set up and maintain clean, organised bar and dining areas
• Handle POS transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service
• Follow RSA, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Skills & Experience

• At least 1 years’ experience in hospitality (server, bartender, barista, or similar)
• Confidence in both floor service and basic bartending
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in Italian food, wine, and hospitality culture
• Availability to work evenings and weekends, especially Friday and Saturday nights
• Current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain before starting)
