Job Title: Guest Services Outdoor Host
Location: Thredbo Resort
Position Outline:
As a part of the Guest Services team, you are primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service through great teamwork and the use of interpersonal skills across outdoor locations. Within this role you will ensure accuracy and are responsible for delivering appropriate resort knowledge to our guests and effectively communicate to ensure guests have optimal experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Maintain a high level of customer service including greeting guests and providing resort information.
- Safety
- Adhere to all company policies, practices and procedures. Including Guest Services Training criteria.
- Adhere to all relative work safe legislations associated to your role.
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others.
- Report any hazard, injury or illness to your manager.
- Seek further information and clarification on any areas of uncertainty surrounding company policies, safe work practices and procedures.
- Maintain a personal fitness level that enables you to safely perform daily tasks.
- Role Specific Duties
- Welcome guests to the resort and direct them to appropriate locations providing accurate and sound information to all guests
- Assist guests with navigation of the Thredbo online shop in real time to support efficient queues
- Multitask and remain vigilant to monitor that patrons accessing Thredbo Lift System have valid access and are adhering to agreed terms and conditions. Should they not, adhere to processes supported by the leadership team
- Use available recourse hosts to provide accurate information and assist in resolving guest ticketing issues or concerns
- Assisting to control large crowds in practical and safe manner
- As required and when requested by your supervisor or Manager, assist with other Guest Services areas.

- Any other duties required in the day-to-day operation of the Guest Services department and resort facilities as directed by Supervisors and Managers.
Experience / Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience in the standard suite of Office software systems
- Experience in tourism-based customer service or information desk
- Skills in the RTP operation System
