We are seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to join our team at our Karratha office. This role supports both production operations and internal systems, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, improving processes, and working closely with technical teams.
What will you be doing?
- Working with staff to understand operational needs and support improvements to business processes and systems.
- Analysing workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommending practical enhancements.
- Assisting with project planning, coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
- Preparing and running test plans to support system changes and ensure quality before deployment.
- Creating user guides, training materials, and delivering training to support system adoption.
- Preparing functional and technical documentation for developers and technical teams.
- Using modelling techniques to outline system requirements and support software design.
- Acting as a key contact for system‑related queries and supporting decision‑making.
- Collaborating with users and programmers to improve internal systems, websites, and applications.
Production & Technical Administration
- Setting up jobs, preparing Manufacturing Work Instructions, and issuing drawings/documentation to workshop teams.
- Assisting with MDR compilation, data entry, scanning, reporting, and general administration.
- Supporting purchasing activities and following up supplier documentation.
- Assisting Project Managers with coordination tasks and supporting stores management.
- Performing site work when required.
Software & Technical Support
- Assisting with basic software testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Supporting maintenance and improvement of existing software and internal systems.
- Contributing to usability, automation, and optimisation initiatives.
- Maintaining an understanding of customer needs and how internal systems support them.
Essential skills and experience
- Bachelor‑level education (minimum) related to Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A proactive, positive, and effective work style suited to a dynamic team.
