The Opportunity

This role sits within Micromine Consulting, where you’ll work with our engineering team to support mining clients on real operational and project-based assignments.

You’ll contribute to mine planning, scheduling, feasibility and optimisation studies while building practical consulting experience across a range of commodities and mining methods. It’s an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to accelerate their development in a global mining business.

• Contribute to mine planning and scheduling outcomes that support client operations
• Build practical consulting experience across multiple mining projects and commodities
• Support feasibility, optimisation and operational improvement studies
• Develop capability in industry-leading mine planning and engineering software
• Collaborate with experienced mining engineers and technical specialists
• Help deliver high-quality technical outcomes for mining clients

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering
• Exposure to mine planning, scheduling or mining software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working with technical data and Excel
• Comfortable with site travel depending on client needs (FIFO / DIDO)
