A long-established Western Australian footwear business is seeking an Apprentice Boot Maker / Footwear Maker to support the production of handmade sheepskin boots and related products.
This is a rare opportunity to develop practical skills in traditional footwear making, leatherwork, sheepskin production and small-batch Australian manufacturing. The role would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality work and is interested in learning a specialist trade.
About the role
You will be trained in the making and finishing of handmade sheepskin boots and related products. Working alongside experienced makers, you will learn the workshop process from start to finish.
