Job Overview:
The Structural Engineer applies their conceptual knowledge of Structural (Eng) and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Structural (Eng) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Structural Engineer understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Project: Lead Engineer
Functional: Supervising Department Manager
Liaise with: All design/drafting disciplines, all Engineering disciplines, Construction site/Fabrication groups, and Document
control
Supervises: Trainee Engineers
Essential Qualifications and Education:
3-8 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant predominantly performing detail design, or equivalent experience in a similar project environment is desirable
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Preferably a Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or member of a professional engineering society desirableWhat you can expect from us.
