As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll be tasked with estimating across a diverse range of domains, from roadworks and drainage to bulk earthworks, bridges, and structures. Armed with our cutting-edge estimating tool, Expert Estimation, and driven by your construction prowess, you’ll craft first-principle cost estimates that breathe life into technical documents. Your Skills & Background: Creating the Future

Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? We’re searching for individuals who bring more than just qualifications to the table. Do you have:

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction, with a love for roads and rail?
• A deep understanding of TMR (Transport and Main Roads) projects, with a penchant for TMR items and specifications?
• The agility to manage time effectively and navigate the digital landscape with ease?
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in team environments?
• A track record in construction tendering and a history of collaborating with contractors?
• The innate ability to decipher industry productivities and choose the perfect tools for the task?
• Qualifications in Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management? RPEQ eligibility is a desirable bonus.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken in English?
• A proven knack for wielding the tools of the trade?

Your Tasks/Responsibilities: Crafting Excellence

In this role, you’ll be the mastermind behind our success. Your daily tasks will include:

• Meticulously reviewing tender documents to uncover hidden gems.
• Performing precise quantity take-offs that lay the foundation for success.
• Analysing bill of quantities to unravel cost-effective solutions.
• Skilfully constructing direct and indirect job cost estimates using Expert Estimation.
• Crafting procurement packages that drive our projects forward.
• Scrutinising supplier and subcontractor pricing, ensuring every detail aligns with our vision.
• Collaborating closely with programmers to fine-tune project outputs, including the duration of each construction stage and discipline durations.
• Channelling your proactive spirit to continuously enhance processes and boost our outputs.
