You can bet the music is turned all the way up at Line 6, a leading maker of electric guitar amplifiers. The firm focuses on integrating technology with music products, such as its digital modeling amps that are designed to reproduce the distinctive sounds of a wide range of traditional tube amps and much more. Beyond an array of amps, Line 6 makes and sells Variax guitars, stomp boxes, pedals, and other accessories. Its amps are sold in more than 60 countries through major music retailers, such as Guitar Center and Sam Ash, as well as on the company's website. Executives Marcus Ryle and Michel Doidic established Line 6 in 1996 when they spun it off from their earlier venture: Fast Forward Designs.
