Description Established in 1943, San Diego State University Research Foundation (SDSURF) is a non-profit, auxiliary organization chartered to support and further the research, education, and community service objectives of San Diego State University. SDSURF currently administers some 1,500 active funds with revenues of $192.2 million in 2022-23. With 160 central support staff and 2,000 grant and contract employees, it is the largest such auxiliary in the state of California.
