Embree Construction Snapshot
The Embree Construction Group develops, designs, and builds free-standing buildings for business chains across the US. The group serves as a general contractor or construction manager, primarily for major national companies. It is active throughout the US. Ground-up and remodeling projects include retail properties, restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, automotive service centers, and correctional facilities. Operating companies include Embree Healthcare Group, which develops assisted-living and specialty medical projects, and Embree Asset Group, which develops build-to-suit single-tenant buildings and leases them back to clients. Owner and chairman Jim Embree founded the firm in 1979 in Kansas City.
