Pros

A4M has been putting on top-notch conferences for physicians interested in anti-aging and functional medicine for the past 25 years. Brand recognition within the industry is extremely strong which helps ease the conversation/sale for us. Every event is packed with the top thought leaders in the field and some of these top docs as part of the faculty who provide major credibility for the programs. As a sales rep, you have an incredible opportunity to 1) educate physicians and change future patient populations and 2) earn uncapped commission. With the amount of physicians converting to anti-aging/functional medicine – the sky is truly the limit for your book of business.

Cons

I think when switching into any new sales role, the learning curve for product knowledge will be steep - you can either look at that as a pro or con. The education we offer is a high-level sale that requires you to be updated on the latest terminology - if you are a self-motivated sales rep who is comfortable managing your own book of business and continually learning, this should not be an issue.

Management that Cares

Pros

The overall goal is to help doctors treat their patients better through education. In the meantime, while at the workplace, you learn about health and wellness for yourself and your family. The things i have learned in the last 4 years will never leave me. Management members give the team a feeling of family and allow an open invitation to share ways to help the organization. You can grow into different roles here and are never pigeonholed. If only all the other workplaces i have worked would have more managers that cared.

Cons

The only downside is actually an upside- there is no micromanagement, you need to be motivated to make things happen here and that is only a downside if you are not determined. I dont think the other reviews on this site are truthful but i guess that's the nature of reviews - probably disgruntled people who were fired. I am very happy and currently working here!
