Pros
Environment is focused, but not stiff. Challenging, but not stressful. Driven, but still casual. Teams are tight-knit and family-like. Bosses are involved in the day-to-day, not aloof. The office is open, well decorated, and has formal lighting. It's a break from your typical corporate cubicles, fluorescent lights and potted plants. Projects are incredibly diverse and there are constantly new opportunities to learn new technologies and skills. Fun events, birthdays and company anniversary parties and free lunches are scheduled throughout the year.
Cons
While there are opportunities to learn new technologies and skills, the majority of that has to happen off of company time or while you're using said technology as there is very little time dedicated to continuing education. Split offices greatly separates teams and leads to very little collaboration between teams.
