An engineer can make a direct impact on an application used by thousands of people. Cooperative, friendly atmosphere than encourages skill building.
Cons
It's a start-up that doesn't have all the frills of an established company.

Pros
1. You have the ability to effect change, everyone has a vested interest in succeeding or failing here. This alone excited me, every time I come to work. 2. Very smart people, everyone regardless of position. ActivityHero hires some excellent people. 3. Very cool industry, I really think I am making a difference when I speak to our customers.
Cons
1. We change a lot, product, pricing, strategies. You have to be comfortable with this. 2. Open environment, can sometimes be a bit intimidating if you're not used to having your own office.
