Pros
Incredibly rewarding since selling solutions to heal the planet, great work culture, management is always open to communication, the company is always looking to improve and grow.
Cons
No retirement plan but aside from that all is good.

Just to clarify - altE has provided a SEP IRA plan since mid-2000's. However, starting in 2017 altE has upgraded its retirement plan offering to a 401k that more friendly for everyone to contribute to.

Pros
Do you want to feel good about your work? Well working at altE is a very fulfilling job. All the people who work here are passionate about the environment, and the collaboration "to make renewable do-able", is the best work environment ! Being in the solar industry is exciting and fun, and altE works closely with many of the top manufacturers in our field. It's great!
Cons
altE is a small company, flexible, and nimble, so if you like big corporations - we're not for you :)
