      Pros

      Before working at Alternatives I was unsure where my career was headed, and I almost gave up hope. However, as I continued to learn about the organization during my onboarding, I saw that Alternatives was genuinely invested in servicing the needs of the youth they worked with. They were not treating the youth as a data point to meet grant obligations but valued them and saw them as thought partners to inform the work they were doing. As for professional development Alternatives, will definitely make sure you have the tools you need to excel in your role.
