      I want to express my appreciation for Alton Cars, working there for the last 4 years has been a trusty rewarding experience growing from strength to strength in my personal growth and professional growth with the help and support from a strong management team. I have a strong interest in cars and the motor industry so there was no better fit for me, the work environment is truly enjoyable as well as motivating to learn new things on the job everyday. Working here has provided me with invaluable experience and opportunities to develop myself and my career. The management team is highly supportive and encourages employees to share ideas and contribute to projects that drive the company forward. I truly appreciate being part of such a dynamic organization that values its employees and is dedicated to excellence in the motor industry."

      At this current stage I have no cons regarding the company. Put the work in and you will reap the rewards.

      Why Alton Cars?

      Pros

      Directors. They are all genuinely nice people. They took time to get to know our names. They ALWAYS let on and have a chat when they visit. Investment in the workshop tooling has been unreal, and investment in people has been constant too. They do what they say they are going to do, and don't take an age to do it either. Alton Cars have a good vision and their inclusivity is absolutely incredible. Why Alton Cars? That's why.

      Cons

      At a site level there's a bit of a clique, if you're in the clique, it's all good. If you aren't... You'll be referred to as a dog's body (true story). There is also alot of "it's not my job or I'll do it later" at this site level. Not a reflection on the company as a whole. Just on this site.

      Forward Thinking

      Pros

      A forward thinking progressive company, employees are the life blood of this business so training and keeping up to date with technology is key to maintaining its standing within the motor industry. Great pay structures in place, company benefits, work/life balance while continuing to maintain a family orientated ethos by all senior management.

      Cons

      While I'm sure there are those who have some cons to working at Alton Cars, I can only say I don't have any after working for the company 19 years.
