Pros
Small organization that is very responsive to the needs of its staff, with a practiced commitment to equitable employment. Initiatives like pay scale transparency, flexibility around hours and remote work, and diversity and inclusion initiatives continue to improve the experience working here. Great opportunities to work on interesting things.
Cons
Small organization often beholden to the needs and interests of other organizations (funders or practitioners), for better or for worse. Does not always have the resources it needs to execute fully on the needs or ideas of its staff. Has a fairly narrow lane of established work it struggles to branch out of. Organizational culture susceptible to change quickly due to being driven by whoever are the current employees.

There is immense work flexibility, generous leave policies, a caring and compassionate executive team, and a very collaborative, respectful atmosphere.
