Pros

- Mission-driven company with a clear focus on improving pet wellness through better nutrition. - Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you can make a real impact and see results quickly. - Leadership is approachable and open to feedback. - Great environment for those with a “builder” mindset — you’ll learn a lot, move fast, and have visibility across brands and functions. - Exciting time to join as the company grows and matures its systems, processes, and data infrastructure. - Flexible work environment with a good balance between autonomy and accountability.

Cons

- Growing pains typical of combining multiple companies (alignment, process standardization, etc.). - Roles can be fluid — great for learning, but it can be challenging for people who prefer clear structure. - Limited formal training — most learning happens hands-on or peer-to-peer.

Thank you for such a thoughtful and balanced review - you really captured the heart of what it’s like here. We love hearing that our mission, pace, and builder mindset come through in your experience! You’re right that bringing multiple brands together comes with its share of growing pains, and structure and training are areas we’re continuing to strengthen. Feedback like this helps us do that. Appreciate you taking the time to share ... and for being part of shaping what Antelope becomes. 🐾

Such a welcoming remote community

Pros

From the interview process, I could already tell this was going to be a great place to work, you could feel the warmth, authenticity, and shared purpose in every person you met. Now that I’m here, it’s even better than I imagined. Everyone I’ve worked with, across every team, has been incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely mission-driven. It’s rare to find a company that feels this connected. Even though the company is fully remote, it feels connected and personal. People are genuinely kind, supportive, and easy to work with. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a real sense of belonging you never feel like “just another remote employee.” The mission to make pets’ lives better is at the heart of everything, and it shows in how people treat each other.

Cons

Being fully remote means in-person time is limited to our annual company retreat, though the company also encourages local meetups for teammates who live near each other.

We put a lot of heart into making sure that even in a fully remote environment, people feel connected, valued, and part of something meaningful, so hearing that reflected back is incredibly rewarding.
