      Pros

      The practice from 5 years ago has completely pivoted. New services offered, new hires, new admin/direction, a complete 180 from the direction previously.

      Cons

      If we have problems, we voice them, admin hears us out, and often there are changes. There are cons periodically but the attempt to correct them and that matters to me, I don't want to be stuck somewhere without change or growth

      -Created a career, on the job training/diverse assignment -Owner's son is modernizing everything -Work faster, get more jobs and bonus

      -Amount of work makes work/life balance difficult

      Pros

      -Flexible working schedule -The boss has a very good knowledge of the field that I haven't experienced at other firms -Willingness to teach us/be a leader -Listens to constructive criticism/adapts -Offers more responsibility if you are up for it

      Cons

      -It's not downtown and I do miss that life (although not the commute). -It does take awhile to become an MAI, although Mr. Argianas has helped where I don't think I would have had the opportunity otherwise. -If you're just starting out, expect a few months to a year before you can begin to reach higher earning potential. -High standard for report writing which I did not experience at other companies.

      Real estate appraisal and consulting is a very tough profession. It takes years to hone ones skills to high levels.
