Can't speak to other areas, but I was a behavioral tech in Eureka, CA and had the best experience ever! Couldn't relate to any of the classic horror stories about bad ABA jobs.

Pros

Management is more than willing to work with you and help you solve problems. Lots of room for growth and management encourages it through decent raises and offers for classes.

Cons

The work can sometimes be sporadic because of client schedules, but that is just the name of the game.
