Pros
Woman owned business for over 18 years. The owner has accomplished a lot and has developed a rapport with her clients. Great place to learn that your administrative skills, initiative, and work ethic are never going to be good enough. If you have the skill to read the her mind or predict the future you will excel because you will be able to do things exactly how she would do it. Another employee has her dog in the office. The dog is a great asset to the office. The owner is sympathetic to a point and holds family and dogs in high regards. I strongly suggest not pushing the limits.
Cons
Owner has been through three admins in the past year and none of them made it past the 90 day probation period. After the 90 days the "great insurance benefits" begin, but she hasn't had to pay health benefits for admin in over a year. The other review mentioned "Bully" and that would be an accurate description. YELLING! She yells a lot. BPE is not a place to learn from your mistakes because she doesn't expect any. She tells you to ask when you don't understand or need clarification, but then she will yell and ask WHY you don't understand. It was an unending stressful cycle. The competent and intelligent employees are made to feel incompetent, inadequate, and unsure of everything regardless of how well they are doing.
