Love the growth

Pros

Continued opportunities to grow. As a non-profit it also means that these positions aren't always visible, but instead are opened as the agency grows and needs support in different ways.

Cons

Sometimes the stress of the impact we can have is a lot, not a con for Balance Autism, but a good reminder about the Human Service field. Thinking about how we support ourselves in good stress management is important, but also seeking out others (in and outside the organization) for this is support is also ideal.

Pros

The environment of the facility I work at is the best. All of my coworkers get along like family and we are all there to support each other.

Cons

The job can be stressful, but that is just a part of the job. If you don't have patience it isn't meant for you.

Pros

I really enjoy balance because I love working with the kids. Luckily, in my opinion my location was great co-workers and supervisors. They have always been super helpful.

Cons

The only “con” I can think of is that some of the kiddos can be tough.
