      Pros

      I have only worked for Ben for 1 month and I have to say I absolutely love it. It can be hard work but it is very rewarding.

      Cons

      Having lots of different agency staff can have a detrimental effect on the residents. Especially ones who suffer from dementia as they require routine and familiarity,

      Pros

      Ben is a company that truly cares about our residents. The whole team of staff across the centre work together to support the daily living of residents. The care staff are dedicated, friendly and professional and provide person centred care to help our residents have the best quality of life. The home is set in beautiful grounds which are enjoyed by our residents and our new refurbished Houses provide a homely and safe environment for residents.

      Cons

      In my opinion, there are no down sides to working at Town Thorns and think we are only going to go from strength to strength inline with our refurbishment and Best Life Program which is designed to improve the quality of life and experience for our residents and their relatives and will help to ensure we offer a home for life.

      Pros

      Town Thorns is a really friendly place to work. We all love supporting our residents to live their best lives, but also supporting each other to develop and achieve.

      Cons

      At present we do not have an Activity Co-ordinator at Town thorns. However, we have just recruited X2 people for this role who will hopefully begin to embed meaningful activities in the next few months.
