Pros

Close-knit team, small-agency feel and big-agency expertise, direct access to CEO, exposure/opportunity for employees at all levels, environment fosters growth, work with iconic and progressive outdoor and active lifestyle brands (big and small), national and international travel opportunities, office dogs, free snacks/coffee, location is prime in oceanside Marblehead “village” just north of Boston.

Cons

Must be willing/able to wear many hats and juggle/prioritize many tasks at once.

Pros

I sought out CGPR because of the quality of the clients the firm works with and the top level work the agency produces. CGPR is a really unique agency that works with active consumer lifestyle clients across the country. I was looking for an opportunity to work with clients whose mission I supported and believed in and CGPR was the perfect fit. The staff brings diverse experience across PR categories and the management brings 30+ years of invaluable communications experience. Clients stay with the firm far longer then industry average and the staff acts and feels like a close knit family. Living in Boston I drove a reverse commute to Marblehead which while far, was well worth it. Marblehead is a beautiful community and relaxing backdrop for a busy and often hectic industry.

Cons

No real downsides to CGPR. PR is a fast paced industry with little downtime, but with the experience and support of the CGPR team, as well as the amazing clients the firm represents, employees are in good hands and well supported.

Pros

CGPR is a wonderful agency located outside of Boston. I stumbled across the position and was thrilled about the idea of no longer having to trek into Boston. Scenic Marblehead is also amazing and nothing beats working here in the summer months. CGPR has the most amazing list of clients ranging from iconic outdoor brands to well-known lifestyle apparel and gear companies. Consumer PR at CGPR is a lot of fun and we are always working new and excited brands. It also helps that upper management has been in the industry for 30+ years. We have been working with many clients for 6+ years, much longer than the industry average. We treat clients like family and in return our relationships are built to last. Work/life balance is something that is extremely important to me and that is definitely something that is valued at CGPR as well. We definitely work hard but equally play hard! Lastly, despite being a small agency, CGPR offers room for growth and you receive support to do so. Webinars, workshops and other initiatives are encouraged and the open-door policy is clear the second you walk into the office.

Cons

There are no true downsides of CGPR. We work with amazing clients that create products/apparel that we truly love. If you are looking for a small family-like agency this is the place for you.
