Pros

Working with the best in the industry -- there is a ton of opportunity to work hand in hand not only with incredible artists and their teams, but also amazing venues, vendors, and other music industry professionals. There is a lot of healthy variety to the work that we do, and in our role as VIP or enhanced experience providers, we touch on a lot of different aspects to an event or tour. There are plenty of opportunities to travel for work, and to be on site at events, which adds an important element of variety into work life. Great office space with a cool vibe, a comfortable environment, and an awesome location in center city Philadelphia The people -- we work in collaborative team environment, with some of the most level-headed, hard-working, and creative people in our space. Good ideas are prioritized over hierarchy, and there is opportunity for everyone to meaningfully contribute. Flexibility - the priority is always on getting the work done, but the company recognizes that a certain amount of flexibility is important to maintaining a healthy work life balance. There is a very generous PTO policy, and any reasonable request for some personal time or remote time is usually not a problem. It's exciting to see where CID has come from and where it's going. There's been a tremendous amount of growth over the last few years especially, and the company is headed in a really great direction. Personally very interested to see where we'll be in another few years.

Cons

As with any job in event production, there are lots of very hard and very meaningful deadlines. There is an event, and people will be there, and they will be expecting you to deliver at a very high level the things that have been promised them. During the busy seasons of the year, we have a ton of events going on, and it can sometimes seem like a never-ending series of these deadlines, which can be stressful, and can wear you down. We've done a great job of mitigating that here by striving to understand ways to better manage the workload, but it's unavoidable at times, and you have to be able to manage and prioritize during the peak seasons of the year. For those who travel onsite for the events we produce or are partner with, there can be a large time commitment away from home, and it can be challenging to maintain a healthy work life balance during a long string of events.

Pros

For someone looking to work in live entertainment, CID allows you to work with a number of different artists, festivals, and event types that spans all genres. Workplace full of passionate, hardworking individuals. Focus is on the team and meeting team goals, which makes for a positive work environment.

Cons

Work/life balance is something that has gotten better over the time I have been with the company, but still can be improved in some departments.
