Great people but stubborn at the top.

Pros

Great work culture with bright and passionate people alongside you. Really niche and interesting space to learn about. Good benefits but light on compensation.

Cons

Incredibly heavy in upper management and too much beurocracy for a mid size company. Doesn't take a lot of risk and in a volatile market like non-tradeds I worry they will be forced to exit due to bigger institutional players.

Good benefits, flexible with hours, offers program to reduce medical costs, family-oriented culture, good values, rewards high performers, provides challenging projects for growth, current with industry trends, manages company well in down turns while still taking care of employees.

Cons

Promotions can be a challenge in certain departments due to size of company but when opportunities arise they are great at promoting from within.
