So happy here

Pros

Everyone always says how oncology work must be so heavy and I can only respond saying that CancerCare’s organization is happy enough to make up for it. I feel supported by my supervisor and love my coworkers. SW leadership tries within their power to make sure we’re all heard and feel appreciated. Boundaries and balance are encouraged- ending at 5 pm means computer closed at 5 pm.

Cons

Pay isn’t great but it is a nonprofit and we have good benefits and PTO.

Pros

-Very protective of employees during COVID-19 and were one of the first companies to start working remotely. -A lot of bonus days off.

Cons

-Pay could be better, but this applies to many nonprofits.
