A Great Job for Students

Pros

This job allows for a lot of free time. When not helping residents, Community Assistants can read, work on homework, and even watch Netflix.

Cons

Lately, the Management has been getting stricter about what students can do at the desk. They have started to develop the mentality that Community Assistants should always be working, and they have started micromanaging. Also Community Assistants are required to work one "grave yard" shift per week from 12:00-3:00 AM or 3:00-6:00 AM.

Great company but student housing was not for me

Pros

Great company and top management is open and accesible to talk to. Benefits and pay are okay and you have opportunities to move up in the company.

Cons

Leasing agents and lower staff are not as qualified as they should be. Properties have issues with satisfying their tenants therefore causing a lot of issues between tenant and lower management which then carries over to top management.
