Pros

I feel really lucky to work in an environment as supportive and welcoming as Care2. The company is generous when it comes to granting employee perks and flexibility, such as remote work, paid leave and free weekly lunches. The employees are smart, collaborative and caring individuals. I've learned a ton since starting this job, and I've also made lifelong friends, who make it enjoyable to come to work each day.

Cons

The company advocates on behalf of many different people and issues, and that's something that's both a positive and a negative. As an employee, it's great to work on and learn about a range of topics, but the work can feel overwhelming at times. It's part of our mission to spread awareness about tough topics like animal abuse, and sometimes those campaigns can be very heavy and hard to work on.
