      Excellent mortgage company

      Pros

      Catalyst has been the best experience I have had in the mortgage industry. I have been in operations for six years and worked with more than 5 other mortgage companies who either shut down or left CO market. Catalyst is by far the best I have experienced.

      Cons

      We are a smaller company so some haven't heard of us. We are local and headquartered in DTC.

      Was a great place to work

      Pros

      Was always able to get help with questions. From the Operations manager, processors, closing, and post closing. They really took great care of their employees, and it was a great atmosphere to work in. It was close to my home, and the offices are very nice.

      Cons

      Supposedly the market slowed and there was several layoffs, then the company got acquired by another company which can happen in this industry. Otherwise it was a really fun place to work.

      Pros

      My co-workers here are for the lack of a better word, amazing. Each person strives to help in anyway they can. Management is always on top of finding new ways to make things flow easier, so we meet our goals. Out of my whole banking career this is as close to a perfect mortgage company as you can find!

      Cons

      Unfortunately no matching when it comes to 401K.
