Your brain is challenged daily as you delve into scientific data, referencing several studies to the obgyn community...your job never becomes boring. Great benefits such as employer match 401k, competitive salary, bonus, and healthcare. Plus, a generous car allowance and tuition reimbursement, and stock options. Great leadership and transparency! Amazing President's Club rewards that include spouses. There's so much support to help you succeed- from managers, VPs, IT, Genetic Counselors, and even the CEO. Everyone is totally cool and approachable.

Cons

As any acquisition, there are changes. Change is difficult, especially when you're a tenured employee. If you're coming on as a new hire, you won't even be bombarded with too much change. Sometimes you are expected to work weekends for conferences, consumer events, etc. On average, 1-2 weekends a quarter (not terrible).

Pros

Great working atmosphere, good compensation, continuous improvement. CBR was family owned and recently acquired by a business that is driving bottom line improvement but is also heavily investing in the IT infrastructure and systems. Change is difficult, so I am not surprised to see some employees look for other options that align with their preferences. I came from a corporate environment, having worked in banking and telecomm, so I am used to the expectations and ongoing changes. CBR is much smaller and more employee focused than the larger environments and I am very satisfied to be here.

Cons

Right now the company is in transition and has lost some long time employees. However, it is hiring new talent and this will drive more success.
