There could sometimes be a borderline hostile work environment with a culture of distrust within the management team towards the general office. There is minimal flexibility in the job, and you are expected to be constantly available without overtime pay, and this includes taking calls anytime 24 hours a day when on call yourself. There are sadly no company benefits, and management can be reluctant to offer support if you are unwell, or suffer a bereavement for example. There isn't any investment in sales training from management and also not much prospect for career development. It's a relatively small company with a young staff base which is great for morale but options for promotion are minimal to non-existent. Staff turnover at this company is therefore high.
