Pros

Expect to come in and immediately get put to work and make a difference. As a small firm, you can expect great exposure to a variety of issues facing government and commercial clients. You will be responsible for preparing deliverables and expected to actively participate and lead meetings. Great clients and project work allowed me to grow professionally and personally, and you can expect the same. Overall, great office environment and events such as happy hours, Top Golf, and sports games. Work-life balance is great, but some long days are inevitable. Benefits are on par with the industry.

Cons

Compensation does lag slightly behind peers, but that is offset by the opportunity and work-life balance. Internal technical education is fairly basic so you will likely find yourself leaning on outside learning to supplement during any down time.
