Pros

I work on the HR team. I love my coworkers, there’s flexibility in my position, I get to have a wide scope of practice, and the kids make it all worth it!

Cons

I wish we could be more competitive with wages.

Pros

Focus on the mission serve makes the culture and environment feel like one of the best out there. Bond and relationships with clients and coworkers makes work easier. Work/Life balance is a top priority.

Cons

Like all non-profits, pay is behind the times. The organization tries to make up for that in other ways, but limited funding makes that hard. A seemingly constant churn of positions in mid-level management changes seems to stall professional growth.
