Learn and employ critical editing skills; pays well for only a moderate amount of work; ample opportunities to switch positions to learn new skill sets within the same contract; will not work overtime; office hours are adjustable; management has great relations with the customer; federal employees respect their contractors; may receive bonuses.

Cons

Requires a bachelor's degree at a minimum; prior military experience is a must; no opportunities for pay raises (you can always apply for another job within the same contract and possibly get more cash); no sick leave; work can be ultra meticulous and ego bruising at times (huge learning curve if never worked with Army OPORDs before),
