      Start-Up with a great concept and product

      1. Amazing atmosphere with intelligent people 2. Collaborative- your work directly correlates with the company's growth 3. Start up- Not for everyone but I love it

      1. Not many except for the start up thing that involves constant change but it keeps things exciting.

      Pros

      The people that I've worked with at ColonyLogic are some of the best co-workers I've ever been with. Everyone is friendly, helpful, smart and reasonable. One thing I particularly like is the quick 15 minute daily scrums that help to keep everyone on the same page, without wasting too much time in meetings. The environment has an "agile" startup like feel, without a lot of the usual startup insecurities and work/life balance compromises. From a tech/learning standpoint the company has constantly given us great opportunities to learn and improve with the latest tools, python, django, mongodb, node.js, backbone and more. There is even a weekly tech oriented bookclub. ColonyLogic has given me great additions to my tech skillset.

      Cons

      Although the company is currently well funded and is making good revenue, it is not yet cash flow positive. As with any company in this position that introduces some risk with regards to long term planning.

      Upbeat Culture, Top Shelf Talent & Anchoring the Tech Scene in DTLA

      Pros

      * Seasoned & Smart Coworkers * Strong Benefits: 401k, good insurance, free snacks & lunches, etc * Hip and raw area of DTLA (downtown los angeles) * Next to train stop...literally

      Cons

      * Though the focus was on the Media Industry when we launched, we need to constantly push to prove to the other verticals that CLX is just as relevant to them. [read: make sure the market doesn't paint us into a box] * Access to cheap and good cafes for lunch around the office are slim pickings (but they are adding more spaces over the next 6-8 months) * Traffic in and out of office can get crazy sometimes with the major events at Staples Center
