Solid place to move whether you're interested in becoming and Advisor or just working in corporate America and don't want to drown in the noise of large corporate bodies like Fidelity. High energy from everyone, encouraging work ethic and attitudes and very strong communication from HR, and senior managers. Boston office has more use of the location than Bedford, which is fairly quiet.
Enjoy the on tap cold brew, definitely a nice perk. Innovation and forward thinking are encouraged, expected, and accepted. This place is a breath of fresh air after working at Fidelity for almost 6 years.
Good math up to 5% and 1:1 matching.
Very strong and quick communication from senior leaders.
Feedback for change and improvement asked for an encouraged.
Good culture.
Big corporate vibe on a smaller scale.
Strong infrastructure.
Great benefits.
Great support.
Managers listen.
Hybrid work.
Generous PTO.
Room to grow.
Cons
Health benefits somewhat expensive, although great coverage.
Nothing else comes to mind.

Amazing onboarding experience from the interview process, to the group study sessions to passing my L&H, SIE, 7 and 63. They ensure you get all of your licenses before you start.
Small group size - they have a very thorough selection process for new advisors to join. My class was only three people which while i interviewed at other firms my class size would be 15 to 20.
Training - extremely thorough around financial planning compared to my last firm. It is broken into three segments, goal setting, product/ investment training, and role playing cases/ case studies.
Mentorship and Credibility - mentors and coaches have thriving practices and are a wealth of knowledge around best practices. It is clear they did not fail into leadership and care about everyone's practice.
Cons
Financial planning is tough to learn and this business is an evolution. I feel like there is a ton to learn and not enough time in the day.
You have to be fully licensed before starting at CFG compared to others that may allow you to start sooner with just one license or your life and health.
It is hybrid however there is a heavy emphasis on being in the office which may not always work for calendars.
