Pros

Supervision was great. Director is really passionate about the company's mission. Co-workers were excellent and we worked as a team. This company prioritizes work-life balance and taking days off to prevent therapist burned out was encouraged. They also provide work training and helps AMFTs get additional certifications and certificates. This is a great place for an AMFT that wants to learn.

Cons

Pay wage is not competitive for licensed MFT therapist.

Pros

CVS is a self-described feminist organization. There is a lot of effort put towards self-care with retreats, three mental health days a year (you can call in whenever you need without having to give a reason), and even International Women's Day off. They are very family friendly and flexible with scheduling to accomodate staff needs. The staff is also very supportive and sweet.

Cons

Not a ton of room for professional advancement. No natural mentors willing to step up and take you to the next level. Its pretty much a "do as you're told" environment. The board (in 2011) was also very conservative and not in line with ideology of management and staff.
