      Great company, great growth trajectory

      Pros

      Since I've joined the firm, the firm has grown tremendously, and with growth comes opportunity to do more in support of our attorneys. There's also an appreciation of employees who all get to attend annual firm retreats, a fantastic holiday party, and other fun activities sprinkled throughout the year.

      Cons

      If you're looking for stasis and consistency of what a work week looks like, this role would not be for you. Every day is a little bit different, which is something I appreciate and is a big part of what marketing is all about.

      Great Place to Work

      Pros

      Friendly and collegial work environment. Unlike many law firms, it isn't stuffy or confined by the typical set of "rules" many traditional law firms operate under. It is run like a business that just happens to be a law firm, which is great since it allows firm attorneys to better understand the business of practicing law. Also, there is a strong focus on timely client and colleague communications, which is always important in building long-lasting relationships. Lastly, great work life balance, particularly for a law firm.

      Cons

      Vary occasional late nights or weekend work required, but this is expected for any business-focused law firm handling M&A and private equity work.
