Pros
-Create software used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world -A focus on doing the right thing for users, even at the expense of profit -Reasonable work hours -Smart (and nice) colleagues -Be at a company where you’ll have room to grow and the opportunity to take on a wide variety of projects -Enormous growth potential (few companies in Canada are positioned for the growth that's possible with this company) -Work directly with an Ethereum co-founder, at the company Ethereum emerged from -The founder is willing to take big risks, including risks on people who don't have a proven track record (e.g. young people, people from other industries, etc.) -Large office in downtown Toronto, more than adequate space for employees -Games in the office & other things for employee well-being (fresh fruits, etc.) -Company wants its employees to grow with the company -This is the company that many of Toronto's blockchain industry founders started at. It's got a rich history and is an incredible place to learn from the founder, and the great people who work there.
Cons
-Employees are expected to work hard during their time in the office (some people might consider this to be a con but for others it's a pro) -Rigid work hours for most people, not as lax about breaks as other tech employers -This is a small company (<50 employees), with all the accompanying pros & cons that smaller companies typically entail (see below) so if you've never worked at a smaller company definitely ask questions and ensure you know what you're getting into. This is a small company in a globally competitive industry that is always changing.
